Preparing for 2027: Scope 3, Assurance and the Next Phase of California Climate Reporting

What's Covered

The first year of California climate reporting is officially underway. Now the harder part starts.

The 2027 reporting cycle adds Scope 3 emissions and raises the bar on assurance. Companies that wait until deadlines get close will be building data, documentation and controls under pressure. Companies that start now will walk into assurance with a program they can defend.

Good.Lab & RSM are co-hosting this session to give you a clear roadmap on both sides: Good.Lab brings the view from building and running GHG reporting programs. RSM brings the view from the assurance side of the table. Together, we’ll show you what auditors will look for and how to get your data ready for it.

What You'll Learn

Lessons from the first reporting cycle: what went smoothly, where companies struggled, and what to fix before next year- How to strengthen your GHG data, documentation and controls so they hold up under limited assurance- What the assurance process actually looks like, step by step, from the people who perform it- How to start on Scope 3, even when supplier data is incompleteYou’ll leave with a clear picture of what 2027 asks of your team and a plan to get there. Bring your questions. We’ll save time at the end to answer them.
